The Desert Nest exhibition is inspired by nature and life in the desert, offering a forward-thinking vision for sustainable ways to live in harmony with the environment.

Pigeon Towers
The design of the pavilion was inspired by the well-known ‘pigeon towers’ of the country. These towers originally provided a resting place in the desert for pigeons on migration.

The Pigeon Tower, Vertical Garden, Legacy Tower and Energy Tower represent the Desert Nest for Qatar.

In two of the four towers, exhibitions will be held that tell the story of the pigeons on their migration with modern techniques such as holograms.

Sustainability

Qatar uses 3D printing with sustainable materials to build their pavilion. To discover the greenification that Qatar envisions, to transform a desert to a fertile land full of vegetation, as the perfect base for a healthy city.
