Often ideas are brought to us that cannot be exactly implemented, but that’s exactly where I think it is getting interesting: Then you notice that the customer has a vision and is enthusiastic about the project. One building stands on the glacier, the other in a lively city centre, no two buildings are the same. Every building has new challenges that require different approaches – that always makes the work exciting. In such cases, it is my job as an architect and consultant to develop a solution together with the customer that, on the one hand, is still linked to their idea and, on the other hand, is feasible – especially regarding the static requirements, the materiality, budget and the available construction time. These are my personal challenges and my motivation on every new project.
